Hi everybody, how y’all doing ?
I’m not a girl of many words, so I’ll keep it brief this time.
A few weeks ago I had to photograph some girls. One of them is a friend of mine. She wanted pictures of her and her 2 sisters to give as a birthdaypresent to their mother. So there you go.
It was fun, but it took much longer than I thought it would. And I got underpaid :) Nevertheless, I really had fun, and it seems they actually like the results.
Enough talking, you may judge for yourself :)

This is only a small selection, I just wanted to show you my favourites.
The week after this shoot I went to my hometown: Lier. It’s where my mum and many of my friends live. Some random snapshots:
My mum cleaning the house.

Min chul, a friend and a great drummer.

The week after that, I had a job interview, and guess what ? I got the job :) When I got the phonecall that they would hire me, I was just paying a visit to Anita, a woman whom I got friends with during our photography course. She has a nice pool, so we enjoyed the sun and a refreshing dive now and then.
One arty picture of Anita:

And last but not least: a few months ago we went to Brussels to meet some friends of Carlos, and of course Artis :) I took 1 picture with the Leica at the beginning of the evening in the first bar we entered, and I saw in a previous post that Carlos had not submitted it. You may think it’s not a cool picture, but somehow I really like it. Just look at all the lights…

Nitey nite…
X Jorid.
hey, Jorid, congrats on getting a job – I remember you told you were looking for one, glad to hear you succeed.
and the last photo of the pub – really cool, so atmospheric!
Leuk om een entry van jou te zien, Jorid! Vind vooral het frame van je schoonmakende moeder erg mooi! Fijn gebruik van “negative space”.
Liefs!
